
LOS ANGELES, Calif. — Mel B returns to television screens later this year as the new host of Oxygen’s “Dance You’re A** Off,” but that might not be the only reality show she’s heading to.
When asked by AccessHollywood.com’s Laura Saltman on Monday at NBC’s Summer Press Day about the rumors she is being considered to take a seat at Simon Cowell’s “X Factor” judges’ table, Mel said she’d love to be a part of such a project.
“There’s always rumors. Rumors are rumors,” Mel said, swatting at the claims she’s set to join the FOX show, which will launch stateside in Fall 2011. “But whoever gets the job will be great. I think it’s a great job.”
Simon is known for telling it like it is, something the former Spice Girl also has a penchant for. So, how does she envision it working should she get the “X Factor” gig?

Workout: Former Spice Girl Mel B followed this plan to shift pregnancy fat. Filmed outdoors in LA sunshine, the two full-body workouts are broken into segments including cardio and advanced cardio, and exercises to tone the back and chest, arms and legs, core and buttock muscles.
Beginners are advised to start with four 30-minute sessions a week, gradually building up to the full workout and then increasing intensity over four-to-eight weeks.Expert’s view: This assumes no experience and gives excellent basic, practical advice for beginners. The only equipment needed is a broomstick for stability work and some bottles of water or cans for weights. Fun and easy to follow.
Best for: The easily bored or those new to exercise.

Hi I’m Mel B and I’ve had a totally fantastic time putting this website together, and I can’t wait to get working out with you lot and getting you all Totally Fit!
We filmed the workout DVD’s in a beautiful setting in Malibu overlooking the Ocean over 5 gorgeous days in September. It was super hot and we worked up a real sweat during the shoot. On the DVD’s I’ll be inviting you into my home and sharing some of my favourite recipes, with cooking demos from yours truly, shot straight from my very own kitchen! I’ll also take you out and about in my car for a trip around L.A. to shop for some workout gear.
Working out and eating well are essential to my lifestyle, but I also love to go out for a run and a hike in the hills. I use a pedometer to calculate how many calories I burn, and I just strap it on at the beginning of each day, it’s so easy and it’s great to see the results at the end of the day, as it clocks everything! It’s a great way of pushing yourself to be extra active.
