Massive thanks to each and everyone of you that voted for us at this years BRITs! I had a great night, and was reminiscing about when we performed back in 1997. We were running up and down banging on dressing room doors to see who would come and and talk to us! We’re still here after all these years, and it’s thanks to you, our fans! I had a lot of fun hanging with Geri, it’s a shame the other Girls weren’t with us but I know they were there in spirit! So excited about the Musical. Thank you for your continued support!

LONDON, ENGLAND: Mel B and Geri Halliwell accept the Spice Girls award for “Brits Performance of 30 Years” on stage at The Brit Awards 2010 at Earls Court on February 16, 2010 in London, England.
Ginger and Scary Spice took to the stage to accept the award with Mel B stating: “First I wanna say thanks to the fans! The Spice Girls fans are the best”.
“You’ve got the naughtiest Spice Girls here”, Halliwell added.
The Girls won the award for their 1997 performance of “Wannabe\Who Do You Think You Are”.

On Saturday 23rd January, ITV1 will broadcast ‘The BRITs Hits 30’. This anniversary programme is unique in that it celebrates The BRIT Awards reaching its 30th year by viewing some memorable performances that the public can then vote on through internet.
The UK’s recorded music industry association, the BPI, announces today that Spice Girl Mel B will be hosting this ITV show that will turn back the clock with stunning performances from the likes of: Kylie, Scissor Sisters, The Bee Gees, Eurythmics, The Spice Girls, Bros, The Who, Coldplay, Kanye West, Paul McCartney, Take That, Robbie Williams dueting with Tom Jones, The Pet Shop Boys, Girls Aloud and of course Michael Jackson.
The TV audience will then be asked to vote for their favourite performance by going to itv.com/brits or gm.tv up until February 5th when the voting window will close. The winner will then be invited to the BRITs on Tuesday 16th February at Earls Court, London to accept their award. “MOST MEMORABLE BRITs PERFORMANCE of 30 years”.

UK Music Week Chart (United Kingdom’s favourite artists) was finished, and the Spice Girls result was, at very least, surprising.
Music fans voted at UK Music Week website, choosing their favourite artists. The Spice Girls reach a very pleasing #4, beating out competition from Oasis, Girls Aloud, Beatles and All Saints. Spice Girls was the ban with highest amount of votes.
