The british talent show “The X Factor” premiere its new season next year, and rumors about Mel B role as a judge are confusing.

“Daily Mirror” says that, after Danii Minogue’s leave the show, founder, producer and judge Simon Cowell thought of Mel to replace her. “Simon thinks Mel could be brilliant as she is outspoken, down-to-earth and won’t hold back. There were times during the current series that he felt things were a bit boring and he is certain sparks will fly with her on board”, said a source.

According to “The Sun”, Cowell is really interested to have Robbie Williams as a judge, and denied all rumors that he have invited Mel B to join the tv show in 2010. “We didn’t contact Mel B to ask her to do the show. We met Mel two or three years ago”, he said, adding that there weren’t more invitation since then.

Weird? Expect the unexpected.

Welcome (again) to the brand new Always Melanie B!

I should have explained what happened, I think all of you noted that in the last two months we go through three different news systems, and in the last weeks we haven’t any news page, so here we go.

The change in the news page was planned to allow comments … I used cutephp, but was having so much problems with spams. Then I tried nucleus, which initially worked, but soon surrendered to spam as well (that is the problem that disappeared with all our multimedia files)… So back to basics and trying the best and largest system of content management, we are now in WordPress, which has more credibility and more resources for spam fighting, now I think everything’ll be ok… I changed the site server (only in Portuguese version), I’m testing, if it’s an advantage, I’ll change all site to the new erver.

Yesterday, November 21st, Always Melanie B completed four years online and the mark of more than 300,000 visits!I’ll take this opportunity to thank all visitors, affiliate sites, our hosts/servers and everyone who believed in this crazy project – which is now the largest solo site for Mel B in the world! – and all of you that were supporting and encouraging me until today!

Mel B happy to be known as a gay icon: LONDON – Former Spice Girls member Melanie Brown says that it’s an honour for her to be known as a gay icon. The 34-year-old mother of two, who has earned praise recently for her newly toned physique, says that she’s happy that gay men find her attractive, reports the Daily Express. The singer said it was an honour because, “I try hard with my body”, adding “I don’t look like a bloke though!”

Melanie ‘Scary Spice’ Brown purchases a gated home for $3.15 million: Singer Melanie Brown, also known as Scary Spice from her days with the Spice Girls, has purchased a gated home in the San Fernando Valley area for about $3.15 million. The country French-style house has five bedrooms and eight bathrooms in more than 8,000 square feet of living space. Wrought-iron doors open to an entry foyer with limestone floors. The chateau, its 1,352-square-foot detached media house and a swimming pool sit on more than half an acre. Designed by Xorin Balbes and built in 2006, the house has a fireplace in the family room, living room and master bedroom, plus three dishwashers and a yoga studio.

Brown and her husband, Stephen Belafonte, bought the home because they have plans to expand their family, said Charmaine DeGraté, an agent with Coldwell Banker, Beverly Hills, who also represented Brown in the $3.14-million sale of her Hollywood Hills residence in April. That house had four bedrooms and four bathrooms in 3,476 square feet.

FORMER Spice Girl Melanie Brown drew crowds of hundreds to a department store where she appeared in her underwear.

Brown, better known as Mel B, wore a red and black corset as she emerged from a giant cake to mark the 10th birthday of lingerie brand Ultimo.

Around 200 fans flocked to Debenhams on Oxford Street, central London, to meet the singer and TV personality, who is due to begin a stint on ITV show Loose Women next week.

Brown posed for photographers in front of underwear displays before spending time signing autographs for the assembled crowd.

The 34-year-old is the latest in a long line of celebrities to model for Ultimo, which has also featured Helena Christensen, Penny Lancaster and Sarah Harding in its campaign.

Brown said: “It’s been fantastic to be the face and body of Ultimo and I am so happy to be here to celebrate its 10th birthday.

“Ultimo are totally dedicated to creating beautiful, comfortable and perfectly fitting lingerie for women of all shapes and sizes.”

Ultimo founder Michelle Mone, who decided to set up her own business in 1996 and launched the Ultimo cleavage bra three years later, said she had been drawn to sign Brown up because of her personality as well as her physique.

She said: “I think Mel B is a gorgeous looking woman with an amazing looking figure. She has got a figure to die for.

“I think it’s her personality as well; she is just so warm and she says it as it is. Ultimo is about real women and she is a real woman and that’s what I like about her.”

Mel B wants to be fitness trainer

Former Spice Girl Melanie Brown is extremely eager to help people get fit – so much so that she wants to become a personal trainer.
The singer insists she is in the best shape of her life and after releasing her own fitness DVD, she wants to encourage people to shape up by working out with them on a personal basis, reports contactmusic.com

“Brown has never felt fitter, faster or stronger. Unlike some celebrities who endorse fad diets and daft fitness regimes, Mel is into old-fashioned sweat and tears to get results. She’s had a few PT (personal training) sessions and decided to get qualified herself and help others achieve the perfect body”, a source was quoted as saying.

The 34-year-old is apparently also preparing to start fitness classes soon.

“She’s launching a Totally Fit class, inspired by her best-selling DVD after becoming a Fitness First (British gym) ambassador. She’ll be working with industry experts to create a high-octane, fast-paced class, and will hopefully launch the programme herself, demonstrating to other instructors”, added the source.
