Special thanks to scarylove @ DenDen to share this with us.
“We were just having our tea with our friend Diane Warren at The Office, as usual, when this girl came up and started chatting with Diane.
She sat down with us and after about a minute and absorbing her British accent we realized that we were amongst Spice Girl royalty!
Melanie B now lives in Los Angeles, and she was on her way to the gym.
We didn’t tell her that we dressed up as Scary Spice one night in college, snuck in a bottle of Boonz, and went with all of our friends to see SpiceWorld. That would have been embarrassing.
Unfortunately, due to Geri just having her baby, a reunion seems out of the picture right now. But, the good news is that the idea is not out of the picture totally. And, it may happen after all!!
The girls are into it and hopefully they will spice up our life real soon!”
UK Music Week Chart (United Kingdom’s favourite artists) was finished, and the Spice Girls result was, at very least, surprising.
Music fans voted at UK Music Week website, choosing their favourite artists. The Spice Girls reach a very pleasing #4, beating out competition from Oasis, Girls Aloud, Beatles and All Saints. Spice Girls was the ban with highest amount of votes.
Below you can see the Top5. The full chart is in UK Music Week website, ukmusicweek.co.uk
#1 – Will Young
#2 – Robbie Williams
#3 – Paul McCartney
#4 – Spice Girls
#5 – Coldplay
Geri Halliwell is planning on reuniting the estrange members of the Spice Girls with the birth of the forthcoming child.
Ginger Spice is hoping that Emma Bunton, Victoria Beckham, Melanie Brown and Melanie Chisholm will step up and be God mothers to her baby.
All former Spice Girls have received an invitation to take on the role of spiritual guide on hand crafted, silver edged cards from Smythson stationers.
A source told the Daily Star: “Geri really would like this to reunite them. Contrary to what a lot of people think, Geri looks back on her days in the band, especially before they were famous, as a really wonderful period on her life”.
Rolling Stones or The Beatles? Oasis or Blur? Spice Girls or Girls Aloud? These are just some of the questions that music fans have been deliberating over for the last 40 years and now it’s time for answers.
On May 1st all the answers will come in the form of the UK Music Week Chart, where we will discover the UK’s favourite 40 artists of all time.
And your vote is all important as it will be the public who decides which Great British artists make it into this unique and prestigious chart, which will be unveiled on May 1st.
To vote for your favourite UK artists of all time, all you have to do is visit the UK Music Week homepage by clicking on the link: http://www.ukmusicweek.co.uk/chart/pop.html

AT last some good news on the SPICE GIRLS reunion tour — it’s not going to happen.
I can reveal that MEL C and VICTORIA BECKHAM have seen sense and realised it is a bad idea.
Sporty Spice Mel, visited Posh in Madrid last week to talk about a tour in honour of the tenth anniversary of their debut single, Wannabe, getting to No1. Promoters had pencilled in dates for November and December.
But Posh and Sporty, who has a fairly successful solo career in Europe, decided it could be a bit, well, embarrassing.
A source close to the girls said: “Melanie has never really been into the idea of performing with the girls again. She is proud of everything they did together but she has moved on. She wants to concentrate on solo work. She met with Victoria, who was thinking the same thing. Posh is now heavily into fashion and realised the Spice tour had the potential to be a PR disaster”.
The girls would be compared to the amazing TAKE THAT comeback.
“GERI HALLIWELL is expecting a baby in the summer so she’s not going to be in any position to start rehearsing for a while. EMMA BUNTON and MELANIE BROWN both wanted to do it but now Victoria and Melanie C have vetoed it”.
So we can breathe a sigh of relief.
