Mel B has lent her voice to a fairy in Tinker Bell And The Legend Of The Neverbeast.

The Spice Girl and X Factor judge voices the character of Fury, a “feisty” scout fairy in the Disney animated film.

“Fury kind of suits me,” said Mel. “She does have attitude, my character. It’s like a little mini me!”

Mel, whose full name is Melanie Brown, said her daughters may have influenced her decision to sign up for the part.

“I’ve got four girls and they love Tinker Bell. They have lots of dress ups,” she said, adding: “I’m a huge Disney fan.”

The 39-year-old singer has had some experience with voiceover work before, having previously played Lola in 1998 TV film Creche Landing. But joining Tinker Bell And The Legend Of The Neverbeast alongside Ginnifer Goodwin, Rosario Dawson and Angelica Huston is her biggest voice role to date.

“You look at a massive screen of your character saying the lines, and you try to match your voice to the character. And that might take a few times. I’ve had an absolute ball. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my experience,” she explained.

Mel also spoke about who her X Factor judges – Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh – could play in the film. She joked: “If Cheryl was to play a fairy, she would be Tinker Bell. I think Simon Cowell would be the one trying to destroy everyone and everything in every land, and Louis would just be the funny one.”

Tinker Bell And The Legend Of The Neverbeast, directed by Steve Loter, explores an ancient myth of a fabled creature with a distant roar and the fairies try to capture the mysterious beast before it destroys their home in Pixie Hollow.

The film flies into cinemas on December 12.

X Factor judge Mel B has given an exclusive interview to HELLO! magazine in which she reveals her plans for a fourth child.

Posing with her husband Stephen Belafonte and three daughters for an exclusive photoshoot, the former Spice Girl says she and Stephen have been discussing the issue for a long time. “We’ve been talking about it for two years,” she says.

“I’m 40 next year, I want to have one more baby.” Stephen adds that adoption is one option he favours.”I think there are so many kids in the world that we could give a chance to,” he says.

In the interview, the presenter and singer also reveals she is shortly due to undergo a cornea transplant in her left eye after it was badly damaged during laser treatment 15 years ago.

“I can’t see at all out of my left eye,” Mel tells HELLO!. “The lasering went wrong so this will be totally life-changing.”

However Mel tells the magazine she would not resort to any kind of cosmetic surgery or Botox.

“I don’t want to have botox or surgery because I want to have expression in my face, but I want to look after myself. I’m not an idiot. Looks do count in this business.”

And she also sets the record straight on the strength of her marriage to Stephen. “I’ve been in lots of relationships, but it makes me cross when people assume Stephen and I have an open relationship. Never, ever, ever. We knew each other incredibly well – good and bad – by the time we got together. He can irritate the pants off me, but I love him absolutely and I trust him with my life.

“He’s the first man I’ve ever trusted, he’s my rock and he’s the beginning and the end of who I am.”

Dot Fashion on the forecourt: Mel B is overdressed in tight red frock and and heels as she fills her car up with petrol

She was off out for a romantic evening with her husband Stephen Belafonte.

But before Mel B could get anywhere she had to fill up her car with petrol… despite the fact she was all dressed up for a nice night on the town.

The 38-year-old turned heads as she got out of her car while wearing the striking red dress to help her hubby fill the car up in Beverly Hills.

The former Spice Girl looked her usual toned and muscly self, wearing a fitted red dress which fell to the middle of her legs.

Making her pins look even longer she wore a pair green strappy heels, which she looked very steady on as she strutted across the forecourt.

Her long honey hued hair was styled in wide waves and she finished off her look with smoky eye make-up.

Stephen, who is the father of Mel’s third child Madison, opted for a more laid back look wearing jeans and a black T-shirt.

On Friday evening the star attended the 7th Annual Women in Film Pre-Oscar Cocktail Party on her own.

Shunning some of the more racy outfits she often likes to wear, she instead wore a pair of very tight jeans, a black tank top and blazer.

Her hair was styled straight and in a side parting – creating a very different look to usual for the star.

Earlier on in the day Mel answered some of her fan’s questions via Mobio Insider.

When she was asked when she would be releasing a new single she replied:’I am constantly working on new music, it is just a matter of finding the right one….’

Another fan asked her: ‘If the fans don’t mind Posh don’t participating, would you 4 reunite?’

She replied: ‘I am always championing for a REUNION!!!! Never say never……;o)’

Her positive reply comes just a few days after her bandmate Mel C also hinted that the group could reform in 2016.

She said: ‘It’s funny isn’t it because people are saying it’s the 20 year anniversary of the Spice Girls, and we did get together in ‘94, but ‘Wannabe’ wasn’t released until ‘96 so we don’t really see it until ‘96.

‘And you might see a few of us having a little dance about on stage, no plans, but we’ll see what we can do for you.’
