A NEW mum, reality TV judge and singer has joined the ranks of overweight celebrities to have signed on to become an ambassador for weight-loss company Jenny Craig.
Over a Jenny Craig prepared brunch at Centennial Park in Sydney’s eastern suburbs today, The X Factor judge and former Spice Girl Melanie Brown, or simply Mel B, revealed she has signed up to lose 15 kilograms – “her baby fat” – following the birth of third daughter Madison five weeks ago.
“I have already been exercising but what I need is a little push to help me started eating sensibly,” she said.
“I really allowed myself the chance to pig out during this pregnancy, so I’ve got a bit of weight to lose.”
Mel B currently hits the scales at 75kg and hopes to be down to 60kg by the New Year.
Mel B has revealed that she didn’t feel any pressure to lose weight after giving birth recently.
The former Spice Girl and Australian X Factor judge, who welcomed third daughter Madison with husband Stephen Belafonte last month, said that breastfeeding helped her stomach “shrink” back to its normal size.
